In this paper, we apply fuzzy soft set theory through well-known Sanchez’s approach for medical diagnosis using fuzzy arithmetic operations and exhibit the technique with a hypothetical case study.

Extracting high level features is an important field in video indexing and retrieving. Identifying the presence of human in video is one of these high level features, which facilitate the understanding of other aspects concerning people or the interactions between people. In this paper we are giving approach for face recognition in video.

The development of education and educational institutions in Indonesia has led to the emergence of many new higher education institutions and there have been many changes in majors and specializations offered from each higher education institution. Many higher education institutions also expand their campus network to various regions and even establish cooperative relationships with higher education institutions at home and abroad as partners. Prospective students who are looking for higher education institutions to continue their education often consider aspects of the majors offered, accreditation, location, tuition fees, facilities and infrastructure offered by each higher education institution, as well as various other supporting information.

Procurement of books in the library is an important thing to support learning activities. The availability of up-to-date and suitable book collections will greatly assist students in exploring their chosen field of science. The challenge in procuring books in university libraries is that the useful life of books is varied and can change suddenly if there is a curriculum change, the number of copies is small but very varied, the purchase of books that are not necessarily sustainable from a publisher, the selection of suppliers, book prices, and availability books, especially for imported books, as well as a lack of planning for purchasing books every fiscal year. This challenge often causes the department to prefer recommendations from lecturers who handle each subject rather than searching and tracing the quality and profile of books and publishers. The development of the proposed Purchase Proposal System for this book uses the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model).
